Privacy policy

Who operates PCBWiki
PCBWiki is operated by Kizuki Labs LLC. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit pcbwiki.com and the choices available to you.
Information handled automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser or user-agent information, and response status. PCBWiki does not currently offer accounts, payments, comments, or a newsletter.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes infrastructure and security data under its own privacy terms.
Optional Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, PCBWiki uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic and understand which pages are useful. Analytics may process page URLs and titles, referrers, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, interaction events, and cookie or device identifiers. Google receives an IP address as part of the network request and uses it to derive information such as approximate location; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and read Google’s explanation of how Google safeguards Analytics data. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies and your choice
Google Analytics remains off unless you select Accept analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key pcbwiki-analytics-consent. If you reject analytics, PCBWiki disables further GA collection in that browser and attempts to remove GA cookies set for pcbwiki.com. Google’s _ga and related analytics cookies may remain for up to two years after acceptance unless you reject analytics, change browser settings, or clear site data.
Use Analytics preferences in the footer at any time to change your choice. You can also clear site data in your browser.
How information is used and shared
We use hosting data to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site. We use consented analytics data to understand aggregate usage and improve PCBWiki. Service providers such as Vercel and Google process information only to provide their respective services under their terms and our configuration.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use PCBWiki visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, or others.
Retention
Consent choices remain in local storage until you change them or clear browser data. Google Analytics event-level data may be retained for up to 14 months depending on our configuration settings; aggregated reports may remain longer. Hosting and security logs are retained according to Vercel’s service settings and policies.
Your rights and questions
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information. PCBWiki generally cannot identify a person from aggregate analytics alone, but we will respond to a sufficiently verifiable request. Contact corrections@pcbwiki.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as PCBWiki’s services change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. See also our terms of use.
